Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe near Madrid seeks a Supplier Development Manager with 5+ years in Supply Chain or Quality roles in aerospace. You will lead assessments, CID actions, and cross-functional teams to improve supplier performance and risk management.

The role requires strong communication, Lean/Six Sigma experience, and readiness to travel ~40% to supplier sites. Hybrid work and attractive salary are offered.

Formación

• Engineering degree (Aeronautical, Industrial, Mechanical) or Business Management with strong industrial background.
• Senior profile with at least 5 years of proven experience in supply chain, quality, manufacturing, engineering, or procurement within aeronautic sector.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing capabilities; ownership and problem-solving mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct supplier assessments and field missions to identify weaknesses and improvement axes.
• Define and execute CID actions with key internal stakeholders and supplier management.
• Deploy Lean, Six Sigma and quality tools at supplier sites to improve capability.
• Lead complex initiatives including TOW and NPI projects while mitigating supply risks.
• Provide operational recovery support to ensure delivery and quality targets.
