Amazon is seeking a Station Process Excellence Manager for its Last Mile Delivery operations in Spain. You will lead process standardization on site, link station management with the Process Excellence team, and drive improvements to optimize delivery performance through data-driven actions.

You will coach and guide Operations Supervisors and Delivery Service Providers, plan continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure alignment with EU networks.

Formación

  • Fluent in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or business field
  • Experience in supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience using Excel and data analysis
  • Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders

Responsabilidades

  • Act as a first point of contact for station management on process improvements and benchmarking
  • Monitor logistics and delivery performance indicators in station and on road
  • Set up action plans and execute to drive performance to benchmark rates
  • Drive order execution to positively influence customer satisfaction
  • Support deployment of process standards and upgrades with station management and stakeholders
  • Lead continuous piloting of process improvements and benchmarking initiatives
  • Ensure training in technical configurations for accurate reporting and productivity boosts
  • Provide leadership to Supervisors and Delivery Service Providers during peak times

To continue to drive process excellence within our Last mile Delivery business, we are currently looking for an Station PEx Manager.

As an PEx (Process Excellence) Manager, you will drive process standardization on site. You will be the link between station management and the PEx team. As a member of the PEx team itself, you will contribute to the optimization of the delivery stations operations, providing station with sufficient knowledge and appropriate tools to improve performance.

Your goal is to solve complex problems with simple and practical solutions by developing a deep knowledge of the operation processes. Creating effective communication plans to provide visibility to all impacted teams of the organization will help you to enable overall process alignment.

Key job responsibilities

As firsthand contact for station management regarding process improvements and benchmarking, you will work on effective change processes and contribute to network standardization via best practice sharing. You are in charge of monitoring the logistics and delivery success through set in station and on road performance indicators. You will set up actions plans and execute them to drive current performance to benchmark rates.

In this position, you are a key driver for successful order execution thus positively influence our customer satisfaction.

Contribute to audit initiatives and support results-driven action planning

Contribute to deployment of Process Standard implementations and upgrades within the delivery station partnering with station management and several stakeholders

Support development and continuous piloting of process improvements and ongoing benchmarking initiatives

Ensure station management is understanding benchmark rates and is trained in technical configurations to drive accurate reporting and productivity boosts.

During peak time, you will have the responsibility for the day to day management of a Delivery Station, providing leadership to Operations Supervisors, Operations Assistants and Delivery Service Providers, managing external agency relationships and performance.

This role will be based in the delivery station. You are willing to work in non-traditional shift patterns which include nights.

Plan and implement continuous improvement initiatives designed to innovate the driver experience and make our processes more efficient

Audit processes for compliance and work to close any gaps

Analyse feedback and use data to own and implement process improvements at the site

Work with station management and other stakeholders to identify and solve process-related issues.

A day in the life

As a Process Improvement Manager, you'll be at the forefront of making Amazon's logistics better - which means improving safety, productivity, and quality. Part of your role will involve running observations and audits to identify where processes could be enhanced. Another part of your role will be recommending changes and using your project management and stakeholder management skills to put new processes in place.

You'll be based at one of our sites and accountable for positively influencing operational efficiency at the site. If needed, you will carry out analysis at other local or national sites. On top of dealing with productivity and safety, you'll have the opportunity to share best practices and ideas with our EU network. In this role, you'll use data to drive improvements and continue to grow our shipping capabilities.

Basic Qualifications
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Transportation, Mathematics, Economics, Physics or another technical field
  • Experience working in a supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting role
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience using Excel and data analysis
  • Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including colleagues and leadership
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Experience in process improvement
  • Knowledge of analytic tools
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages
