Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U. seeks a Station Process Excellence Manager to standardize on-site processes and act as the bridge between station management and the PEx team to optimize delivery station operations.

You will develop practical solutions, create visibility through communications, and enable alignment across the network using data-driven insights.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Engineering, Science or Business.
  • Experience working in supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Experience using Excel and data analysis.
  • Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders.
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish and English at C1 level or above.

Responsabilidades

  • Firsthand contact for station management on process improvements and benchmarking, driving standardization across the network.
  • Monitor logistics and delivery performance using station and road KPIs; develop and execute action plans to improve benchmarks.
  • Drive order execution quality to positively impact customer satisfaction.
  • Support audits and implement process standards with station management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure station management understand benchmarks and are trained in configurations for reporting and productivity gains.
  • During peak times, manage day-to-day delivery station operations and lead supervision of staff and external partners.

Description

To continue to drive process excellence within our Last mile Delivery business, we are currently looking for an Station Process Excellence Manager.

As an PEx (Process Excellence) Manager, you will drive process standardization on site. You will be the link between station management and the PEx team. As a member of the PEx team itself, you will contribute to the optimization of the delivery stations operations, providing station with sufficient knowledge and appropriate tools to improve performance. Your goal is to solve complex problems with simple and practical solutions by developing a deep knowledge of the operation processes. Creating effective communication plans to provide visibility to all impacted teams of the organization will help you to enable overall process alignment.

Key job responsibilities
  • As firsthand contact for station management regarding process improvements and benchmarking, you will work on effective change processes and contribute to network standardization via best practice sharing.
  • You are in charge of monitoring the logistics and delivery success through set in station and on road performance indicators. You will set up actions plans and execute them to drive current performance to benchmark rates.
  • In this position, you are a key driver for successful order execution thus positively influence our customer satisfaction.
  • You will contribute to audit initiatives and support results-driven action planning, the deployment of Process Standard implementations and upgrades within the delivery station partnering with station management and several stakeholders.
  • Ensure station management understand benchmark rates and are trained in technical configurations to drive accurate reporting and productivity boosts.
  • During peak time, you will have the responsibility for the day to day management of a Delivery Station, providing leadership to Operations Supervisors, Operations Assistants and Delivery Service Providers, managing external agency relationships and performance.

This role will be based in the delivery station. You will need to be willing to work in non-traditional shift patterns, which include nights.

A day in the life

As a Process Improvement Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of making Amazon’s logistics better – which means improving safety, productivity, and quality. Part of your role will involve running observations and audits to identify where processes could be enhanced. Another part of your role will be recommending changes and using your project management and stakeholder management skills to put new processes in place.

You’ll be based at one of our sites and accountable for positively influencing operational efficiency at the site. If needed, you will carry out analysis at other local or national sites. On top of dealing with productivity and safety, you’ll have the opportunity to share best practices and ideas with our EU network. In this role, you’ll use data to drive improvements and continue to grow our shipping capabilities.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Math, Engineering, Science or Business
  • Experience working in a supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting role
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience using Excel and data analysis
  • Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish and English at C1 level or above
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience implementing process improvements
  • Knowledge of analytic tools
  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL
