Distribusion, the world’s leading ground transportation marketplace, seeks a Staff Software Engineer to join our Offers team. You will contribute to the API platform enabling retailers to purchase tickets from global carriers, focusing on a Go-based architecture and scalable microservices.

You will drive the Elixir-to-Go transition, design high-throughput infrastructure, mentor peers, and shape agile practices across a remote-first global team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in Go.
• Deep architectural mastery of high-throughput distributed systems and microservices.
• Fluent English with strong cross-functional leadership and agile mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive architectural transition of core Search Engine from Elixir to Go.
• Design infrastructure for high-throughput microservices and integration with legacy systems.
• Build scalable delivery systems using our AI stack and mentor peers.
• Own technical backlog and align work with long-term business goals.
• Lead adoption of agile processes and maintain thorough documentation.
• Elevate the team's Go skills and drive cross-team collaboration.
