dLocal is seeking a Staff Engineer in Barcelona to design and evolve systems powering payment routing, fraud prevention, and anomaly detection. You will build scalable Java-based services, lead architectural decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance and reliability at scale.

With 7+ years in Java, you will optimize code, leverage Spring/Hibernate, and work with AWS or GCP.

Formación

• Minimum 7 years of Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring and Hibernate.
• Solid software architecture experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) preferred.
• Familiarity with monitoring/telemetry tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Grafana + Prometheus, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, ELK.

• Lead the technical architecture and design of Java projects for scalability and performance.

• Perform system performance tests and present findings with recommendations.
