dLocal enables the biggest companies in the world to collect payments in 40 countries in emerging markets. Global brands rely on us to increase conversion rates and simplify payment expansion effortlessly.

We are looking for a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our Payments Performance team. You will design and evolve systems for payment routing, fraud prevention, and anomaly detection, building real-time decisioning tools and scalable architectures that meet current and future needs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Java application development and software architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Event-driven architecture design experience.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with technology leaders and product teams to translate goals into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications and systems.
• Lead the technical architecture and design of Java-based projects for scalability and performance.
• Create scalable architectures for Java applications and plan for future growth.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks to improve stability.
