eDreams ODIGEO in Barcelona (Hybrid) seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Customer eXperience vertical, guiding a cross‑functional team in making travel changes and cancellations easier for customers.

You will collaborate with Product, Architecture and Data Science to shape the Payments domain's technical strategy, translate requirements into design, and hire and mentor engineers, while driving performance and a culture of excellence.

Formación

• Experience leading a cross-functional engineering team.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Data-driven decision making.
• Ability to deliver customer value.
• Knowledge of Java and scalable systems.
• Experience with distributed, concurrent systems.
• Familiarity with AI tools in coding.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a cross-functional agile team of 7-10 software engineers.
• Shape technical strategy for the Payments domain.
• Translate functional specs into high‑level designs and tasks.
• Promote standards of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Lead talent acquisition and onboarding for new joiners.
• Manage performance, goals and prioritisation for the team.
• Foster identity, engagement and collaboration with an agile coach.
• Mentor others in skills and career growth.
