Preply, a global ed-tech company, is seeking a Staff Data Scientist in Barcelona to own data strategy for key product domains and serve as the senior analytical authority.

You will partner with Directors and VPs across Product, Engineering and Business to shape long-term measurement frameworks, forecast impacts, and drive data-informed decisions.

Formación

• Demonstrated track record of influencing product or business strategy at the company level.
• Expertise in experimentation and causal inference under imperfect conditions.
• Strong understanding of subscription and marketplace economics, including LTV modeling and cohort dynamics.
• Experience mentoring senior data scientists and elevating analytical standards.

Responsabilidades

• Define long-term measurement and experimentation strategy for your domain.
• Lead deep analyses of customer behavior and retention to drive long-term value.
• Own impact modeling and scenario analysis for major product initiatives.
• Govern key metrics and align with company objectives.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and data leaders to elevate analytics.
