Preply is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to partner with senior stakeholders and drive retention, revenue and efficiency through high-impact analytics. You will design KPI frameworks and embed analytics into decision-making across product, marketing, and operations to scale global education impact.

You will lead end-to-end analytical initiatives, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and influence roadmaps and resource allocation with strong SQL, Looker, and Snowflake skills.

Formación

• 5+ years in analytics roles with KPI ownership
• Strong SQL and data modeling experience
• Experience with Looker and Snowflake

You will partner with senior stakeholders to drive retention, revenue and efficiency through high-impact analytics. You’ll design KPI frameworks, translate insights into strategic actions, and embed analytics into decision-making alongside cross-functional teams. This role sits in the Data Chapter, collaborating with data professionals to scale analytical foundations for global education impact. You will lead end-to-end analytical initiatives and influence product, marketing, and operations roadmaps. The opportunity centers on shaping data-driven decisions at a global scale for learners and tutors.

• Partner with senior Business and Operations leaders to identify analyses and metrics that unlock improvements in retention, revenue, and efficiency
• Lead end-to-end analytical initiatives from framing to business impact, uncovering root causes behind metrics like revenue retention, LTV, churn, utilization, and cost efficiency
• Design KPI frameworks ensuring consistency and cross-team alignment, clarifying definitions and measurement logic
• Create executive-ready storytelling and presentations to align stakeholders on goals, timelines, and trade-offs
• Embed analytics into daily workflows by building dashboards, forecasting, and reporting into decision-making processes
• Translate insights into strategic decisions, articulating observations, impact, opportunity cost, and recommended actions across teams
• Influence roadmap, prioritisation, and resource allocation through data-driven recommendations
• Ability to lead cross-functional analytical projects end-to-end
• 5+ years in analytics roles (Business, Product, Growth, B2B, or Operations) with proven KPI ownership and measurable impact
• Strong business acumen and ability to connect analytics to financial impact and roadmap prioritisation
• Strong SQL skills to build and optimise complex queries
• Deep understanding of retention and performance metrics and ability to validate KPI definitions across teams
• Proven experience leading cross-functional analytical projects and influencing senior stakeholders
• Structured, rigorous analytical thinking with high attention to detail
• Experience improving metric definitions or analytical data models
• Nice to have: experience in marketplace, subscription, or SaaS; exposure to B2B revenue models or customer support operations; hands-on with Looker and Snowflake
