CloudPay in Barcelona is seeking a skilled Spanish Payroll Specialist to own the full payroll cycle, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, social security, and tax regulations.

You will collaborate with clients and internal teams, manage payroll data, and prepare monthly reports while attending the Barcelona office three times a month. Strong English (B2) and Spanish are essential.

Formación

• Extensive hands-on experience managing end-to-end Spanish payroll processing.
• Deep understanding of Spanish payroll legislation, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience with complex payroll components (benefits-in-kind, flexible remuneration, stock options/RSUs, non-resident employees).
• Strong written and verbal communication in Spanish and English (English level B2).
• Proficiency with core office tools (Excel, Word, email, Google Apps).
• Ability to plan proactively and manage priorities independently.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing according to the monthly payroll calendar, ensuring compliance with Spanish legislation and deadlines
• Collaborate with Operations to validate and reconcile inputs and reports to meet legal and client requirements
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies prior to processing and review outputs for accuracy
• Maintain payroll records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
• Prepare and uploading monthly payroll reports to the CloudPay platform
• Manage communications and submissions related to Spanish Social Security via SILTRA, CONTRAT@, CERTIFIC@, DELTA
• Oversee monthly Social Security contributions and address issues delaying payment
• Coordinate calculation and timely submission of tax declarations to AEAT (models 111, 216, 190, 296, 345)
• Support payroll testing and parallel runs for new client implementations or system changes
• Work with Implementation to ensure new payroll accounts transition smoothly to in-house team
• Contribute to setup and configuration validations for client information completeness and accuracy
