CloudPay in Barcelona seeks a skilled Spanish Payroll Specialist to own the full payroll cycle, ensuring compliance with local laws, social security, and tax regulations.

You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver accurate payroll services, maintain records, and support new client implementations. This role requires attention to detail and a proactive, data-driven mindset.

Formación

• Extensive hands-on experience managing end-to-end Spanish payroll processing.
• Deep understanding of Spanish payroll legislation, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English (minimum English level: B2).
• Proficiency with core business tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, email systems, and Google Apps.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing according to the monthly payroll calendar, ensuring compliance with Spanish legislation and deadlines.
• Collaborate with Operations to validate and reconcile payroll inputs and reports.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies prior to processing and review outputs for accuracy.
• Maintain payroll records and documentation for audits and compliance.
• Prepare and upload monthly payroll reports to the CloudPay platform.
• Handle Spanish Social Security submissions and tax declarations (AEAT models).
• Support payroll testing and parallel runs for client implementations or system changes.
• Coordinate with Implementation to transition new payroll accounts to the in-house team.
