Société Générale Spain is seeking a Senior Payroll, Compensation & HR Operations Lead responsible for payroll, benefits and HR operations for about 220 employees in Spain within a regulated banking environment. You will partner with Finance and external providers, drive process improvements, ensure compliance with Spanish labor law, and support HR transformation and reporting.

Fluency in English and Spanish required; banking experience is a plus; this role offers visibility across stakeholders

Formación

• 8–10 years of experience in Payroll, Compensation & Benefits or related HR operations.
• Experience managing end-to-end payroll with an outsourced provider.
• Experience in compensation, flexible benefits, pension and insurance programs.
• Experience in banking or regulated multinational environments is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end monthly payroll process with external provider.
• Ensure accurate payroll delivery including changes, bonuses and deductions.
• Manage payroll controls, reconciliations, audits and statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Spanish labor law, tax and Social Security.
• Coordinate payroll accounting activities with Finance.
• Manage compensation processes and employee benefits incl. flexible plan.
• Administer pension schemes, life and disability insurance.
• Coordinate employee share plans and equity programs.
• Produce workforce cost reporting and analysis.
• Manage relationships with external providers and ensure service quality.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process simplification.
• Participate in HR transformation, digitalization and compensation projects.
