Job summary

BASE life science seeks a Vault CRM Configuration Specialist to work with pharma clients in Spain, configuring Vault environments, managing releases, and supporting migrations from legacy systems. You will own configurations end-to-end, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to deliver compliant, scalable CRM solutions.

The role requires hands-on Vault CRM config, strong problem solving, and clear English communication.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CRM configuration experience, ideally with Vault CRM Administrator certification or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of the Vault platform, including object model, lifecycles, security, VQL, and deployment through configuration packages.
• Knowledge of pharma commercial processes and the role CRM plays in field force, medical, and key account management.
• Awareness of regulations and compliance such as GDPR for HCP data, PDMA, transparency reporting, and controlled change management.
• Experience in a managed service or ITSM setup, with ticket handling and tools such as ServiceNow.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose issues across configuration, data, and integrations.
• Clear communication in English, able to translate business requirements into configuration and to explain technical topics to non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Vault CRM environments for pharma clients, including objects, fields, layouts, picklists, security profiles, and user roles.
• Handle incoming support tickets and change requests from triage through to implementation and closure.
• Plan and run Vault release readiness for each of the three annual general releases, including impact analysis and regression testing.
• Configure and support core commercial capabilities such as call reporting, account and territory management, Approved Email, CLM, Engage, and sample management.
• Promote configuration between sandbox and production vaults with controlled deployment practices and audit-ready documentation.
• Support clients migrating from legacy Veeva CRM to Vault CRM.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client business and IT stakeholders, recommending best-practice configuration and improvements.
