BASE life science is seeking a Vault CRM Configuration Specialist to configure and maintain Vault CRM environments for pharma clients, working with global teams.

You will handle tickets, plan Vault releases, and support core commercial capabilities including CLM, Engage, and sample management. This role is based in Spain and requires hands-on Vault experience and strong English communication.

Formación

• Hands-on CRM configuration experience.
• Vault CRM Administrator certification or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of pharma commercial processes and CRM's role.
• Awareness of GDPR/compliance requirements (PDMA, transparency).
• Experience in ITSM or managed services with ticket handling.

Responsabilidades

• Configure and maintain Vault CRM environments for pharma clients (objects, fields, layouts, security).
• Handle support tickets and change requests from triage to closure.
• Plan and run Vault release readiness for annual general releases; perform impact analysis and regression testing.
• Configure core commercial capabilities (call reporting, account/territory management, Approved Email, CLM, Engage, sampling).
• Migrate clients from legacy Vault to Vault CRM when needed; document changes for audit.

As our next Vault CRM Configuration Specialist, you will contribute to solving meaningful challenges across the life sciences industry. About the role

As a Vault CRM Configuration Specialist, you will work closely with clients and colleagues to address complex challenges across the life sciences value chain. You will take ownership of your work and contribute to delivering solutions that create real, lasting impact.

Your responsibilities include

• Configure and maintain Veeva Vault CRM environments for pharma clients, including objects, fields, page layouts, picklists, security profiles, and user roles.
• Handle incoming support tickets and change requests from triage and impact assessment through to implementation and closure.
• Plan and run Vault release readiness for each of the three annual general releases, including impact analysis, regression testing, and enabling new features where relevant.
• Configure and support core commercial capabilities such as call reporting, account and territory management, Approved Email, CLM, Engage, and sample management.
• Promote configuration between sandbox and production vaults using controlled deployment practices, with documentation that satisfies client change control and audit requirements.
• Support clients migrating from legacy Veeva CRM (Salesforce-based) to Vault CRM.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client business and IT stakeholders, recommending best-practice configuration and improvements to their CRM setup.

You bring

• Hands‑on CRM configuration experience, ideally with Vault CRM Administrator certification or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of the Vault platform, including object model, lifecycles, security, VQL, and deployment through configuration packages.
• Knowledge of pharma commercial processes and the role CRM plays in field force, medical, and key account management.
• Awareness of relevant regulations and compliance, such as GDPR for HCP data, sample accountability (e.g. PDMA), transparency reporting, and controlled change management.
• Experience working in a managed service or ITSM setup, with ticket handling and tools such as ServiceNow.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose issues across configuration, data, and integrations.
• Clear communication in English, able to translate business requirements into configuration and to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

This position is offered in Spain.
