OCCAM Space seeks a Bid & Proposal Engineer in Spain to turn complex customer requirements into clear, competitive proposals for space systems. You will lead end-to-end bid management and collaborate with engineering and commercial teams across international programs.

The role covers cost estimation, proposal preparation for commercial and institutional programs (ESA, grants, public funding), and ongoing use of CRM, planning and documentation tools to ensure accurate data and timely bids.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in the space sector, technical proposals, bid engineering or a similar technical-commercial role.
• Proven experience preparing complex technical proposals (including costing, structured documentation, and coordination across teams).
• Strong understanding of space systems (structures, mechanisms, or payload interfaces).
• Experience working with CRM tools and structured pipeline management.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple bids under deadlines.
• Fluent professional English. Professional working proficiency in Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Bid management: Lead end-to-end preparation of technical and commercial proposals, including requirement analysis, solution definition with engineering teams, internal coordination, and bid planning and reviews.
• Commercial & institutional proposals: Support pricing and cost estimation and prepare proposals for both commercial customers and institutional programs (ESA, grants, public funding).
• Processes & tools: Use and maintain structured processes and tools (CRM, planning, risk tracking, documentation), ensuring accurate and up-to-date information at all times.
• Market & opportunities: Monitor product competitiveness, identify improvement areas, and support the development of new business opportunities.
• Product positioning: Define go-to-market approaches for recurring products and maintain high-quality commercial and technical materials (datasheets, brochures, presentations).
