Job summary

OCCAM Space is seeking a Bid & Proposal Engineer to translate complex customer requirements into compelling, technically sound proposals. You will lead end-to-end bid management, coordinating engineering teams, pricing and documentation to produce competitive responses for space missions.

The role combines technical insight with commercial acumen, working on both commercial and institutional proposals (ESA, grants).

Qualifications

• 3+ years in space sector, proposals or technical-commercial roles.
• Experience preparing complex technical proposals with costing and cross-team coordination.
• Strong understanding of space systems (structures, mechanisms, payload interfaces).
• Experience with CRM tools and pipeline management.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple bids under deadlines.
• Fluent English and professional working Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end bid management, from requirements analysis to proposal reviews.
• Develop commercial and institutional proposals for customers and programs (ESA, grants).
• Maintain and improve processes/tools (CRM, planning, risk tracking, docs).
• Monitor market opportunities, identify improvements, and support new business development.
• Define go-to-market approaches and maintain high-quality technical and commercial materials.
