InterContinental Barcelona is seeking a Spa Therapist to deliver a memorable wellness experience for guests and uphold the InterContinental Life. You will act as a brand ambassador and ensure a warm, professional atmosphere throughout the spa and hotel experience.

The role requires a professional massage qualification, 2+ years in luxury spa settings, and fluency in Spanish and English. Expect collaborative work with other hotel departments and a commitment to exceptional service.

Formación

• Professional Certificate in Massage Techniques / Body Therapies or related field.
• +2 years experience in spas.
• Hotel and 5* experience preferred.
• Must be fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages valued.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and weekends.
• Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, empathetic, team-player and with passion for service.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver personalized spa treatments in line with InterContinental service standards.
• Create warm welcomes and sincere farewells for every guest.
• Build meaningful guest relationships and recognize individual preferences.
• Provide expert recommendations on treatments, wellness experiences and retail products.
• Ensure complete guest satisfaction by responding promptly and professionally to guest needs.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety throughout the spa.
• Prepare treatment rooms and spa facilities for opening and closing operations.
• Work closely with Front Office, Food & Beverage and other departments to deliver a seamless guest journey.
• Support the hotel’s sustainability and CSR initiatives.
• Act as a true Brand Ambassador, bringing the InterContinental Life to every guest interaction.

What we need from you
