Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona is seeking a Spa Therapist (Part Time) to join the Spa & Wellness team. Based at the luxury hotel's Spa, you will deliver a range of treatments, maintain room hygiene, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.

The ideal candidate holds a professional qualification in Massage Therapy, Aesthetics or Beauty Therapy, and has experience in spa settings, with fluent Spanish and English. Flexible shifts and weekend work are required.

• Professional qualification in Massage Therapy, Aesthetics, Beauty Therapy or related field.
• Previous spa therapist experience, luxury hotel preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and guest-centric communication.
• Knowledge of body and facial treatments.
• Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced, multicultural team.
• Fluent Spanish and English; other languages a plus.

Responsabilidades

The hotel Spa consists of 8 treatment rooms, both facial and body, indoor pool and gym.

About The Job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona within the Spa & Wellness Department, the Spa Therapist (Part Time) is responsible for delivering exceptional spa experiences through a variety of treatments while ensuring the highest standards of guest care, hygiene and professionalism. The Spa Therapist reports to the Spa Manager.

As Spa Therapist (Part Time), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Perform a variety of spa treatments, including relaxing, deep tissue and sports massages, facial treatments, body wraps and body scrubs.


• Consult with guests to assess their needs and preferences, recommending the most suitable treatments and wellness experiences.


• Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene and organization of treatment rooms, equipment and spa facilities.


• Ensure all spa products, materials and supplies are available and used efficiently.


• Respond to guest inquiries and provide accurate information regarding spa services, treatments and retail products.


• Create and maintain a calm, welcoming and professional environment that enhances the guest experience.


• Comply with all company policies and procedures related to health, safety and hygiene standards.


• Participate in regular training sessions to stay up to date with the latest spa trends, techniques and treatments.

As Spa Therapist (Part Time), We Expect From You

• Professional qualification in Massage Therapy, Aesthetics, Beauty Therapy or related field.


• Previous experience as a Spa Therapist, preferably within a luxury hotel or wellness environment.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-centric approach.


• Excellent knowledge of body and facial treatments.


• Highly responsible, reliable and professional.


• Ability to remain calm and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.


• Ability to work cohesively as part of a multicultural team.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest hygiene standards.


• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.


• Fluent Spanish and English; additional languages will be an advantage.
