Soho House & Co. in Barcelona is seeking a Spa & Gym Receptionist to ensure an amazing experience for members and guests.

You will deliver a warm welcome, manage bookings for spa services and personal training, and uphold Soho House values of collaboration, simplicity, kindness and passion. You will greet members by name, stay informed about services and amenities, assist with laundry workflows, maintain a clean reception area and support the team to resolve guest concerns in real time.

Formación

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue.
• Reliable, friendly and a key part of the team.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome members by name and greet guests warmly.
• Be knowledgeable about services, menus, amenities; assist with laundry drop-off.
• Learn about Soho House Gym & Spa offerings.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary reception area.
• Manage member lists, bookings for spa services and personal training.
• Address guest concerns in real time.
• Build positive relationships with members and guests.
• Communicate feedback to management.
• Foster a fun, professional atmosphere.
• Welcome new hires and train on Soho House standards.

The place…

Located in the Gothic Quarter, opposite Port Vell, the House has a private Club for our Members. The Health Club offers innovative options for taking care of our bodies and minds. We also have 56 rooms, a private cinema room, and our signature Cecconi's restaurant.

Job Purpose

As a Spa & Gym Recepcionist with Soho House, your role is to make sure that our members and guests have an amazing experience every time.
You will deliver an excellent first impression and a warm greeting to everyone as they come in. You will showcase our Values: Collaboration, Simplicity, Kindness and Passion.

Main Duties

• Ensure every member is welcomed by their name and guest is welcomed with open arm and in a hospitable manner: the Soho House way is warm and friendly.
• Well-versed on standard operating procedures, menus, amenities and collect laundry for Housekeeping Department.
• Learn about all the different services and how much Soho House Gym & Spa has to offer.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe environment: reception area.
• Manage members lists, bookings Spa services and Booking personal training classes
• Support, direct, solve problem in real- time to ensure any guest related concerns are addressed straight away.
• Build a positive relationships with members and guest.
• Communicate and red flag any feedback to the management team.
• Influence a fun and positive atmosphere by being approachable and professional.
• Welcome new hire and train everyone to the Soho House standards ie: Steps of service, Soho House knowledge.

Requirements

A successful Spa & Gym Receptionist for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
