JD Logistics seeks a seasoned operations leader to take end-to-end ownership of a new regional Sorting Center in the Madrid area. You will ensure a timely facility launch, optimize high-speed automated sorting, and manage cross-docking workflows while maintaining alignment with local agreements and safety standards.

Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory, with Mandarin knowledge highly valued for coordination with international stakeholders.

Formación

• Automation & MHS mastery: Strong operational experience working with Automated Material Handling Systems (MHS), automated scanning arrays, and sorting belt software configurations.
• Language proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory to lead local supervisors and coordinate metrics with international stakeholders. Knowledge of Mandarin is valued.
• Operational flexibility: High adaptability regarding working hours and shift adjustments, including night and weekend hub cycles for 24/7 operations.

Responsabilidades

• Take end-to-end ownership of the Madrid regional Sorting Center launch, ensuring on-time ramp-up and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee inbound linehaul reception, automated sorting, cross-docking, and outbound station injection with high efficiency and accuracy.
• Align with the Madrid Logistics Collective Agreement and maintain network-wide performance targets during the initial launch phase.
