Kennametal Stellite Inc. is looking for a Solutions Engineer with fluent English and very good German. This role involves processing customer-specific tools requests, creating technical drawings, and managing small projects while collaborating closely with design teams.

Formación

• Fluent in English and proficient in German.
• Experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Engineering Technician.
• Knowledge of metal cutting tools is desirable.
• Good understanding of SAP and PLM is preferable.

Responsabilidades

Solutions Engineer with German

We are looking for new employee to join as Solutions Engineer with German. In your new role you will be responsible for different tasks related to process of customer‑specific tools requests and work out offers purchase orders. These orders are to provide our manufacturing plants and offices in Germany, and other countries in the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

• Process of customer‑specific tools requests and work out offers.
• Creation of concept drawing in consideration of technical and economic concerns.
• Independent working out of small projects and bear the technical responsibility for your conceived tools.
• Get in contact with the design department, which design 3D concept drawing or transform your concept drawing in a 3D model / drawing.
• External and internal presentations of worked out tool solutions.
• Technical clarifications (internal with sales, external with customers)
• Make a decision between make (inhouse) or buy.
• Clarify and monitor delivery dates
• Update of technical databases
• Analysis and calculation of cutting data (processing time, tool life etc.) for customers‑specific tools. (cutting technique)

Your profile

• Language skills are crucial: fluent English and very good German
• Mechanical engineer or Engineering technician with appropriate professional experience
• Knowledge of metal cutting tools desirable.
• SAP and PLM knowledge preferable
• Good user knowledge of MS Office in general, very good knowledge in Excel
• Knowledge in AutoCAD or NX preferable
• Excellent ability team work in a team
• Quick comprehension skills and like to pay attention to details
• Structured, reliable and conscientious way of working
