Job summary

Trina Solar seeks an Aftersales Engineer to join our team in Madrid or remotely from Spain. You will support national and international solar tracker projects through the aftersales lifecycle, coordinating technical cases, remote and on-site troubleshooting, spare parts, corrective actions, and customer communications.

The role requires hands-on experience in solar projects, strong English communication, and a collaborative, cross-functional mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in solar industry, preferably aftersales, commissioning, construction or O&M for utility-scale projects.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar engineering discipline.
• Good command of English (B2 level or higher) for international cooperation.
• Knowledge of Chinese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage service tickets from initial assessment to closure and coordinate with internal stakeholders for resolution.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support during troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and maintenance at utility-scale plants.
• Identify root causes and define containment, corrective, and preventive actions.
• Interface between Trina Tracker and customer site teams.
• Assess and manage warranty claims and coordinate replacement and spare parts sales.
