Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee installation work for automation and material handling projects at customer sites across Europe. You will spend most of your time at Spanish and European customer sites, coordinating installation teams, subcontractors, engineering, logistics, commissioning and project management.

Your focus is to keep the site safe, keep the work moving and ensure installations meet the required quality and schedule.

Qualifications

• Solid experience supervising installation work in automation or material handling.
• Strong safety and quality focus with a practical on-site approach.
• Able to read electrical and mechanical drawings, layouts, specs and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation teams and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and to TAL standards.
• Coordinate electrical, mechanical and other installation activities.
• Track progress, identify issues early and provide practical solutions.
• Manage deliveries, materials, storage and day-to-day site logistics.
• Check installation quality and support inspections, defect resolution, commissioning and handover.
• Keep site records up to date and provide progress updates to the project team.

Are you an experienced Site Supervisor who likes to be where the work happens? Do you enjoy coordinating people, solving practical problems and making sure the job gets done safely and on time?

At a glance

You will supervise installation work for automation and material handling projects at customer sites across Europe.

You will spend most of your time at Spanish and European customer sites (roughly 70-80%), working closely with installation teams, subcontractors, engineering, logistics, commissioning and project management.

Your focus is straightforward: keep the site safe, keep the work moving and make sure installations are delivered to the required quality and schedule.

Your impact

• Supervise installation teams and subcontractors on site.
• Make sure work is carried out safely and according to site and TAL standards.
• Coordinate electrical, mechanical and other installation activities.
• Keep track of progress, spot issues early and find practical solutions.
• Coordinate deliveries, materials, storage and other day-to-day site logistics.
• Check installation quality and support inspections, defect resolution, commissioning and handover.
• Keep site records up to date and provide clear progress updates to the project team.

What makes you a great fit?

• Solid experience supervising installation work in automation, material handling, electrical/mechanical engineering or a similar technical environment.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and different technical teams on site.
• Comfortable reading electrical and mechanical drawings, layouts, specifications and project schedules.
• A strong focus on safety and quality, with a practical approach to solving problems on site.
• A relevant technical or trade qualification; qualifications such as SMSTS, VCA/SCC, MASE, PRL, IOSH or NEBOSH are an advantage.
• Fluent Spanish and English, and comfortable communicating with different teams and customers.
• Willing and able to travel approximately 70–80% of your time to customer sites across Europe.
