Job summary

Shine is seeking an SEO & Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Manager to join our Content team within Marketing France, accelerating organic visibility and growth across Financing, Invoicing, Small Business and CPA / Accountants.

You will own strategy across SEO and GEO, ensuring content is visible, relevant and authoritative in AI-powered search, working with Content, Brand, Product Marketing, Web and other teams to translate insights into growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years proven experience in SEO, organic growth or search marketing.
• Strong expertise in keyword research, content optimization, search intent and on-page SEO.
• Solid understanding of technical SEO and ability to translate technical findings into clear recommendations.
• Strong interest in Generative Engine Optimization, AI search and the evolving search ecosystem.
• Data-driven mindset with experience using SEO, analytics and reporting tools.
• Ability to manage and prioritize SEO opportunities across multiple audiences, products and Business Units.
• Ability to turn data and insights into actionable content and growth recommendations.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across Content, Marketing, Product and technical teams.
• Curious and experimental mindset, comfortable operating in a rapidly evolving field.
• French native language ability and professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the SEO & GEO strategy across Financing, Invoicing, Small Business and CPA, identifying opportunities to grow organic visibility, qualified traffic and business impact.
• Conduct keyword, search intent and topic research to identify audience needs, content opportunities and competitive gaps for each Business Unit.
• Define and maintain content and topic strategies based on search demand, business priorities and emerging AI search behaviours.
• Optimize existing and new content for traditional search engines and generative/AI-powered search experiences.
• Improve the visibility and authority of our solutions across AI search and answer engines, monitoring how our content, expertise and solutions are surfaced, cited and represented.
• Partner with Content teams to provide SEO/GEO briefs, recommendations and optimization guidelines throughout the content lifecycle.
• Conduct SEO audits and provide actionable technical SEO recommendations, working with Web, Product and technical stakeholders on implementation.
• Monitor organic performance, rankings, share of search, AI visibility and other relevant KPIs through dashboards and regular reporting, both globally and by Business Unit.
• Translate data and search trends into clear insights and recommendations for Marketing and Content stakeholders.
• Track changes in search algorithms, AI search platforms and emerging GEO best practices, continuously testing new approaches.
• Identify and lead cross-BU and BU-specific organic growth initiatives that strengthen our long-term discoverability and authority.
