NTT DATA is seeking a skilled z/OS Mainframe Storage Engineer to manage enterprise storage for IBM z/OS. You will install, configure, administer, monitor DS8000 storage, backups, disaster recovery, and capacity planning to ensure performance and resilience.

Ideal candidates have 8–15+ years in mainframe storage, hands-on DS8000, GDPS, DFHSM/DFDSS, SMP/E, and z/OSMF, with collaboration across teams in a regulated environment.

Formación

• 8–15+ years in Mainframe Infrastructure and z/OS Storage Administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM z/OS storage environments in large enterprises.
• Experience with IBM DS8000 series storage, virtual tape, disaster recovery, and storage management products.

Responsabilidades

• Manage mainframe disk and storage administration including installation, provisioning, restoration, and ongoing support.
• Perform health checks, incident management, monitoring and issue resolution.
• Plan capacity expansions and infrastructure changes for storage.
• Administer and support storage resources for databases, VSAM files, work datasets, and sort spaces.
• Collaborate with systems programming, network, database and applications teams to ensure service delivery.
