DXC Technology is seeking a Mainframe Storage Administrator to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable operation of our mainframe storage environment across multiple locations. You will manage DASD, tape, and virtual storage, perform SMS routines, monitor capacity, and participate in disaster recovery drills.

Formación
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mainframe storage administration.
- Strong understanding of mainframe storage technologies (DASD, tape, virtual storage).
- Proficiency in mainframe operating systems (z/OS).
- Knowledge of storage management software (SMS, DFSMS).
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Good knowledge of English.
Responsabilidades
- Implement and enforce security measures for mainframe storage.
- Perform daily storage management activities including SMS routines and DASD pool monitoring.
- Manage storage devices (DASD, tape, virtual storage) and ensure data integrity.
- Oversee disaster recovery planning and execution during outages.
- Lead storage restoration efforts during outages and coordinate with teams.
