Job summary
Sulzer is seeking a Senior Application Tendering Engineer in Spain to lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for configurable equipment and engineering solutions across a wide range of customer projects.
You will collaborate with sales teams, customers, product managers and manufacturing sites to ensure accurate equipment sizing, competitive pricing, and high-quality tender submissions, while maintaining opportunities and project information in Salesforce and related systems
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Chemical or related discipline.
- 2–5 years in tendering, application engineering or technical sales support in the water sector.
- English at B2 level or higher; Spanish/Portuguese as appropriate for markets.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, SAP-CPQ or ERP systems is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for configurable equipment and engineering solutions across projects and tenders.
- Support the sales process with technical and commercial input from lead generation through negotiation.
- Coordinate with sales, product managers and manufacturing sites to ensure accurate proposals and documentation.
