Job summary
Sulzer is seeking a Senior Application Tendering Engineer to bolster our Spain-based Business Support team. You will craft technical and commercial proposals for configurable equipment and engineering solutions, collaborating with sales, product managers and manufacturing to ensure accurate sizing, pricing and high-quality tenders.
In this role you will enable the sales process from leads through negotiation, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and driving continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or higher in a technical field.
- 2–5 years in tendering/applicational engineering or technical sales support in water sector.
Responsibilities
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for configurable equipment and engineering solutions.
- Support sales from lead to negotiation with technical/commercial input.
- Analyze requirements, perform sizing calculations, and recommend technical solutions.
- Develop quotations and offers using configuration tools.
- Maintain opportunities, accounts and project data in Salesforce.
- Coordinate with customers, sales, and manufacturing to ensure competitive proposals.
- Support pricing activities and non-standard proposals.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to maintain technical documentation.
