Job summary

Sulzer Pumps Spain S.A. in Algete, Madrid, is seeking a Tendering Engineer to join our Services team.

This role involves preparing and managing quotations for spare parts, duplicate pumps, and maintenance solutions, collaborating with colleagues across South Europe, North Africa, and other Sulzer entities to deliver competitive proposals that meet customer needs. Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial and technical quotations for spare parts, duplicate pumps, and maintenance solutions.
• Analyze customer specifications and technical requirements to develop competitive proposals.
• Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers, manufacturers, and other Sulzer entities.
• Create, manage, and maintain quotations in SAP and other internal systems.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, Operations, Engineering, and other key stakeholders.
• Review technical configurations and ensure quotation accuracy and completeness.
• Support sales teams and customers throughout the quotation and proposal process.
• Review and validate incoming orders before handover to the execution teams.
• Support forecasting activities and quotation-related reporting.
• Contribute to SAP Hana implementation and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple countries and business units to deliver excellent customer service.

Preferred

• Engineering degree or technical education.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, engineering, construction, chemical industries, or related sectors.
• SAP experience.
• Salesforce knowledge.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment and technical products.
• Experience with cost analysis, pricing, and margin evaluation.
• Project management experience within a commercial or technical environment.
