Kreios Space is seeking a senior systems engineer to be the technical owner of the VLEO satellite platform. You will define the platform architecture, set system requirements, interfaces and budgets, and lead cross-domain trade-offs to converge on a buildable, verifiable system.

Responsibilities include guiding the verification/validation strategy, supporting AIT and test campaigns, and aligning subsystems across structures, avionics, ADCS, propulsion, thermal and software.

Formación

• Engineering degree in Aerospace, Industrial, Telecommunications, Electronics or related discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in space systems engineering.
• Participation in spacecraft or space-system projects that reached advanced integration, qualification or flight stages.
• Hands-on experience in system or subsystem integration, verification and AIT.
• Experience taking technical ownership of complex multidisciplinary systems.
• Proficiency in requirements engineering, allocation and traceability.
• Knowledge of ECSS or equivalent standards.
• Ability to work across multiple spacecraft domains (Structures, Avionics, ADCS, Thermal, Propulsion, Communications, Software, Ground segment).
• Strong technical leadership and engineering credibility.
• Autonomy to make and defend difficult technical decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Own the platform's technical direction and architecture decisions.
• Define system requirements, interfaces and budgets.
• Lead trade-offs across mass, power, thermal, communications, data handling, reliability and performance.
• Support integration, AIT and test campaigns with planning, procedures and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with subsystem experts across domains to keep interfaces and decisions consistent.
• Establish engineering reviews, configuration management and risk management as the program evolves.
