Kreios Space is seeking a senior Space Systems Lead to own the VLEO satellite platform. You will define architecture, requirements, interfaces, budgets and margins, driving end-to-end design from concept to hardware.

This remote-first role requires regular on-site visits to our facilities in Porto do Molle, Nigrán, Spain, with key design reviews and integration activities conducted on site. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams across structures, avionics, ADCS, thermal, propulsion, and

Formación

• Engineering degree in Aerospace, Industrial, Telecommunications, Electronics or related field.
• At least 7 years of space systems engineering experience.
• Meaningful participation in spacecraft or space-system projects reaching advanced integration, qualification or flight stages.
• Hands-on experience in system or subsystem integration, verification and AIT.
• Experience taking technical ownership of complex multidisciplinary systems.

Responsabilidades

• Own the technical direction of the platform; define architecture, system requirements, interfaces and margins.
• Lead technical trade-offs across mass, power, thermal, comms, data handling, reliability and performance.
• Take the platform from architecture to hardware with verification and AIT support.
• Investigate system-level anomalies and drive issues to closure with sound engineering judgement.
• Align subsystems and experts across structures, avionics, ADCS, thermal, propulsion, software, FDIR and operations.
• Establish systems engineering practices: requirements, interfaces, configuration, risks, baselines and reviews.
• Drive technical execution alongside project leadership and provide visibility on risks and decisions.
