Factorial is building Chats, an AI-native product where AI is core, not an add-on. We seek Senior or Staff engineers to launch Chats from the ground up, with a strong emphasis on fullstack excellence (Rails/React/React Native) and AI-driven workflows.

This is a founder-mentality role in a fast-paced, ambiguity-rich environment. Join a 200+ strong engineering team crafting a human-centric HR platform; expect to influence architecture decisions, product direction, and team culture—from Barcelona

Formación

• Builder mentality: experienced creating products from zero in ambiguous environments.
• Adaptability to shifting priorities and undefined requirements.
• Fullstack experience (Rails/React/React Native) or strong React Native if mobile-focused.
• AI-powered or agent-powered systems experience.
• Solid senior software engineer; able to own ambiguous problems end to end.
• Comfort working in English in a multicultural team.

Responsabilidades

• Build Chats from zero: from architecture decisions to customer-ready features.
• Design and ship experiences with AI and agents at the core, not as an add-on.
• Work across the stack: Rails on backend, React on web, React Native on mobile.
• Adapt fast as priorities change; this is startup-within-the-company.
• Partner with product and design to define Chats based on customer feedback.
• Help shape the team practices, quality standards, and day-to-day workflows.
