Job summary

F5, Inc. (United States) seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer to join the Spanish organization in Madrid.

This hybrid role blends pre-sales technical leadership with customer-facing strategy, supporting sales teams and channel partners with deep F5 product knowledge and ecosystem expertise. You will design complex configurations, craft compelling technical value propositions, and collaborate with engineering, product management, and support to drive successful outcomes for customers and partners.

Qualifications

Experience in Cloud, Security, or Application Delivery environments.
Strong presentation, communication, and account management (pre-sales) skills.
Significant pre-sales / Systems Engineering experience.
Fluent English with strong written and oral communication skills.
BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
F5 core product experience or relevant experience in competitor offerings preferred.
In-depth knowledge of F5 technologies, solutions and product offerings is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide complex design and systems engineering configurations.
Partner with product development and management to assist with CRs and CSRs.
Maintain knowledge of competitive landscape and share with the CAT team.
Lead strategic opportunities and deliver customized product presentations.
Proactively provide consultative support and use SE tools (SalesForce.com, Idea, EDGE, Mainstreet).
Deliver world-class customer service during pre-sales, implementation, and post-sales activities.
