GMV Spain is expanding its defense sector team to work on a project related to UAS/UAV systems. The role centers on software design, architecture, and integration for unmanned systems.

You will contribute to real-time software development, collaborate with a team of engineers, and participate in a relocation-ready environment with hybrid work and flexible hours.

Formación

• Graduates in Computer/Industrial/Telecommunications or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years in software development.
• Strong embedded software experience and proficiency in C/C++.
• Familiarity with software architecture, design, RTOS and V&V is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and architect software components for Remote Carrier and MUM-T systems.
• Develop and integrate software for unmanned aerial system operations.
• Coordinate software development activities for a team of about five engineers.

We are expanding our teams in the defense sector to take on a project related to UAS/UAV systems.

What challenge will you be taking on?

As part of our team, you will be mainly responsible for:

• Software design and architecture activities for software components associated with Remote Carrier and Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T) systems.
• Software development and integration activities for deployment in unmanned aerial system (UAS) operations.
• Coordination of software development activities for a team of approximately five engineers.

What do we need in our team?

For this position, we are looking for graduates in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering with more than 5 years of experience in software development and a passion for UAS/UAV systems.

In addition, candidates should have experience in embedded software development, strong C/C++ programming skills, and experience in architecture and software design.

Knowledge of real-time systems (e.g., RTOS, partitioning, etc.) and software Verification & Validation (V&V) activities will also be considered a plus.
