GMV Spain is expanding its defense sector teams to tackle a project related to UAS/UAV systems. You will join our team to contribute to software design and architecture for RTOS-based components used in unmanned systems and to develop software for UAS operations.

The role emphasizes embedded software development (C/C++), architecture/design activities, and testing/verification in a dynamic, international environment.

Formación

• Graduates in related engineering fields with software development experience.
• Experience in embedded software development and C/C++ programming.
• Knowledge of real-time systems (RTOS, partitioning) is a plus.
• Exposure to software architecture and design activities.

Responsabilidades

• Design and architecture of software components for systems related to Remote Carriers and MUM‑T.
• Develop and integrate software for unmanned aerial system operations.
• Perform unit, component and system-level testing and verification activities.

What challenge will you be taking on?

As part of our team, you will be mainly responsible for:

• Software design and architecture activities for software components associated with systems related to Remote Carriers and Manned–Unmanned Teaming (MUM‑T).
• Software development and integration activities for deployment in unmanned aerial system (UAS) operations.
• Testing activities associated with the developed software, including unit testing, software component testing, system-level testing, flight test campaign activities, and related verification and validation tasks.

What do we need in our team?

For this position, we are looking for graduates in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering with experience in software development and a passion for UAS/UAV systems.

In addition, candidates should have experience in embedded software development, C/C++ programming skills, and experience in architecture and software design.

Knowledge of real-time systems (e.g., RTOS, partitioning, etc.) and software Verification & Validation (V&V) activities will also be considered a plus.
