Job summary

NCC Group in Madrid is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to act as the technical authority for our cybersecurity managed services. You will design, build and maintain heavily customised applications with advanced scripting, and own architectural decisions to ensure upgradeability and service reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ServiceNow development experience on complex multi-application instances.
• Expert-level JavaScript across server-side and client-side scripting.
• Experience as the senior technical developer setting standards and mentoring others.
• Experience delivering ServiceNow within a managed service or MSP with customer engagements.
• CAD and CSA certifications or equivalent platform credentials.
• Strong knowledge of scoped applications, data models and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for the platform and own architectural direction.
• Design and build scoped applications, custom data models and business logic.
• Write and review JavaScript across Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Scripts and APIs.
• Engage with customers to shape requirements and explain trade-offs.
• Design robust REST and SOAP integrations with external systems.
• Own platform health, upgradeability, and technical debt remediation.
• Set coding standards, secure development practices and run peer reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex defects and escalations, providing root-cause analysis.
• Mentor developers and expand the team's technical depth.
