Bark is seeking a Senior SDET to join our Interactions squad, building robust end-to-end automation for consumer-facing web and app experiences. You will craft maintainable frameworks in TypeScript with Playwright or Cypress, test API contracts, and validate event-driven flows across the buyer and seller journeys.

You’ll own quality for key journeys, drive synthetic monitoring with Datadog, and mentor peers while helping to adopt AI tooling within QE.

Formación

• 5+ years in SDET/Quality Engineering with end-to-end experience.
• Expert-level test automation in TypeScript with Playwright and/or Cypress.
• Strong API testing at integration level and contract testing.
• Experience with event-driven/asynchronous flows and reliable assertions.
• Read and reason about frontend/backend code to decide tests.
• Strong SQL for data validation and investigation.
• Practical AI tooling in QE and agentic testing approaches.
• Experience with synthetic monitoring for production journeys.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional squads and influence quality practice.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain end-to-end and integration automation across web and app journeys using TS with Playwright or Cypress.
• Test frontend-backend seams: API contracts, event-driven flows, eventual consistency, failure scenarios.
• Own quality for high-impact product journeys (project creation, lead flows, reviews, install journeys).
• Collaborate early with engineers to close testability gaps; quality starts at design.
• Build and maintain synthetic monitoring (Datadog) and use SQL to validate backend state.
• Validate analytics, tracking, and experiment instrumentation for data-driven decisions.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD and strengthen observability and alerting.
• Design and maintain performance tests and derive capacity recommendations.
• Drive adoption of AI tooling in QE and across squads.
• Contribute to QE Guild with tech-sharing and mentoring.
