Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer in Madrid to back our Prisma Access SASE offerings. You will act as the technical backbone for enterprise customers, guiding complex architectural decisions and collaborating with Product Management and Engineering.

The role requires 5+ years in technical support or systems engineering, strong networking and security skills, and a shift pattern for European enterprise coverage. Office-based with flexibility when needed.

Formación

• 5+ years in technical support or systems engineering
• 2+ years focused on SASE or Cloud Security
• Mastery of networking protocols TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPsec VPNs, SSL/TLS
• Strong understanding of NGFW, ZTNA, SWG, CASB
• Proficiency in network and API troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, MTR, Curl)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Lead resolution of critical and complex technical issues involving Prisma Access and cloud configurations
• Debug routing and connectivity across hybrid environments, including SD-WAN and BGP
• Perform deep-dive packet and log analysis for RCA of high-priority incidents
• Act as a designated technical contact for premium enterprise accounts
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to influence product improvements
• Manage and optimize security policies within Prisma environments
• Create technical documentation and knowledge base articles, and lead internal training
• Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous learning
• Facilitate root cause investigations and implement corrective measures
