Job summary

Envision Energy is seeking a Principal Engineer – QEHS (BESS) to act as the senior regional authority for quality and EHS across Europe and LATAM. You will drive upstream quality, manage LTSA quality, ensure EHS compliance, and bridge HQ R&D, manufacturing and regional delivery to improve products and processes.

You will coordinate FAT, supervise NCR and CAPA, lead RCA efforts, and oversee CoPQ, QMS, and regional EHS programs with ~40–50% travel.

Qualifications

8–10+ years in quality management for BESS, power electronics or HV equipment.
Experience across multiple countries/regions with EPCs or utilities.
Hands-on handling of customer complaints, warranty claims and CoPQ reduction.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate FAT with customers and independent engineers.
Act as regional quality contact for key customers, EPCs and lenders' advisers.
Manage end-to-end complaint handling, 8D reports and on-time closure.
Lead quality reviews with key accounts and report corrective actions.
Review quality requirements in bids and during execution.
Lead RCA for site, commissioning and in-service issues.
Own NCR and CAPA process from containment to effectiveness check.
Coordinate cross-functional resolution with HQ R&D, manufacturing and supply chain.
Escalate high-risk issues and support incident response.
