Manychat is hiring a Senior Python Engineer to design and evolve a Python-based platform layer that integrates with the core system. You will build scalable async services for high-load workflows and own API contracts between systems, ensuring stability and clear boundaries.

This role emphasizes system-level thinking, distributed architecture trade-offs, and close collaboration with Platform and Product teams to ensure scalability and maintainability across the platform.

Formación

• 5+ years of Python development in production environments.
• Strong experience with modern Python frameworks (FastAPI preferred; Django/Flask acceptable).
• Solid API design experience including third-party services.
• Strong understanding of AsyncIO and non-blocking I/O.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build a Python-based platform layer that connects with the core system.
• Define patterns for service communication, orchestration, and responsibility split.
• Develop scalable, async services for high-load workflows.
• Own API contracts and ensure backward compatibility and boundaries.
• Increase reliability through observability and robust failure handling.
• Drive engineering quality with testing, CI/CD, and safe rollout practices.
• Collaborate with Platform and Product teams to align architecture with business needs.
