UST España & Latam busca un Desarrollador Senior en Python con foco en Application Owner para mantener y escalar aplicaciones críticas en un entorno híbrido, con presencia en Madrid y posibilidad de reubicación.

El candidato ideal debe demostrar experiencia sólida en Django, Python y operaciones Linux, junto con manejo de bases de datos Oracle/Trino, Celery y Redis, y desarrollo web con JavaScript, HTML y CSS. Se valoran buenas prácticas CI/CD y capacidad de colaboración entre equipos.

Formación

• Conocimientos de Linux para operaciones y despliegue de aplicaciones.
• Python sólido con Django para desarrollo de aplicaciones empresariales.
• Experiencia con SQL y bases de datos empresariales (Oracle y Trino) es preferible.
• Experiencia con procesamiento en segundo plano y caching (Celery y Redis).
• Desarrollo web con JavaScript, HTML y CSS.
• Experiencia con Git y flujos CI/CD.
• Enfoque analítico y resolución de problemas en entornos multi-sistema.
• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación para coordinar entornos y dependencias.

Responsabilidades

• Actuar como punto de contacto principal para una aplicación que gestiona datos de riesgo y control, ejecuta controles e informa resultados.
• Planificar y gestionar el ciclo de vida de la aplicación, conectando a negocio, desarrollo, infraestructura y proveedores externos.
• Garantizar que las aplicaciones cumplan requisitos, estándares y ofrezcan servicios fiables a usuarios finales.
• Asegurar que todos los entornos sigan guías de seguridad, auditoría y normas de la industria.
• Diseñar, desarrollar y mantener aplicaciones y servicios basados en Python.

We are looking for an Application Owner / Python Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting business-critical applications to be part of the project of the client from the banking sector.

Work Location: Work model in hybrid in Madrid (3 days at the office, 2 WFH),

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

• Act as the primary point of contact for an application which manages risk and control data, executes controls, and reports results.
• Plan and manage throughout the application lifecycle, bridging the gap between business stakeholders, development teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
• Ensure that applications meet business requirements, comply with organizational standards, and deliver reliable services to end users.
• Ensure that all environments follow internal security guidelines, audit requirements, and industry standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services.

What do we expect from you?

• Linux-based application operations and deployment.
• Strong Python development skills with Django.
• Experience with SQL and enterprise databases (Oracle and Trino preferred).
• Experience with background processing and caching technologies. Eg. (Celery and Redis.)
• Web application development experience using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Git-based development and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, especially in multi-system environments.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating environment readiness, issues, and dependencies.

Nice to have

• NGINX/Gunicorn administration.
• REST API design and system integrations.
• Authentication and authorization experience (SSO, RBAC).
