You will work on high-performance backend systems, applying modern Python practices, writing clean tests, and delivering reliable services across the stack while mentoring peers and contributing to architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional backend software development experience using Python.
• Deep understanding of Python core concepts (OOP, functional programming, memory management, async/concurrency, and data structures).
• API & Microservices: production-grade REST APIs and distributed microservices architectures.
• Databases: PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks.
• Testing: unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with Pytest.
• Version Control: Git with PRs, branching, and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Development: design, build, and maintain high-performance microservices and RESTful APIs using Python.
• Code Quality: write readable, maintainable code; conduct peer reviews; promote modern Python practices.
• Containerization & CI/CD: containerize with Docker and optimize GitHub Actions pipelines.
• Database Management: design schemas, write optimized SQL, work with ORMs like SQLAlchemy.
• System Integration & Scalability: integrate third-party APIs with high availability and security.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product and DevOps teams.
