AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and extend the backend of an internal developer portal and dashboard. You will work with AI coding tools daily to accelerate development and improve tooling across Snowflake, SQL, and NoSQL databases.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of backend Python experience with FastAPI/Django/Flask, strong REST API design skills, Git-driven workflows, and familiarity with Linux environments. Flexibility for remote or office work is available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend development with Python and FastAPI/Django/Flask.
• Experience using AI coding assistants in daily workflows.
• Git with branch management, PRs, and CI/CD integration.
• Linux/Unix command-line proficiency (user level).
• Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Understanding RESTful API design and integration.

Responsibilities

• Continue the development and extension of the internal developer portal and dashboard.
• Design, build, and maintain a robust custom Python backend to support core application features.
• Leverage AI coding tools to streamline implementation, refactoring, and test generation.
• Integrate the application with diverse database environments (Snowflake, SQL, NoSQL).
• Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines to maintain automated testing and smooth deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user requirements into scalable solutions.
