AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and extend the backend of an internal developer portal and dashboard, using AI coding tools daily.

Responsibilities include designing a robust Python backend, integrating Snowflake and other databases, and ensuring code quality through testing, reviews, and performance improvements. Remote-friendly with flexible hours and diverse Fortune 500 projects.

Formación

• 4+ years of backend development with Python
• Experience using AI coding assistants in daily workflows
• Proficiency with Git including branches, PRs and CI/CD integration
• User-level Linux/Unix navigation and shell scripting basics
• Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL/MySQL and MongoDB
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration

Responsabilidades

• Continue development and extension of the internal developer portal and dashboard.
• Design, build, and maintain a robust Python backend to support core features.
• Leverage AI coding tools to streamline implementation, refactoring, and test generation.
• Integrate the application with Snowflake, SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Manage Git version control and CI/CD pipelines to maintain automated testing and smooth deployment.
• Navigate Linux/Unix environments to run builds, scripts, and inspect logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, peer reviews, and performance optimization.
