AgileEngine is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and extend the backend of an internal developer portal and dashboard, using AI coding tools in daily work.

You will design, implement, and maintain a robust Python backend, integrating Snowflake, SQL databases, and NoSQL options, while leveraging AI tools to streamline development and tests. The role offers flextime with remote and office options.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend Python development experience.
• Experience using AI coding assistants in daily workflows.
• Proficient with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux/Unix command-line basics and scripting.
• Experience with Snowflake and relational/noSQL databases.
• Solid RESTful API design and integration.

Responsibilities

• Continue the development and extension of the internal developer portal.
• Design, build, and maintain a robust Python backend for core features.
• Leverage AI coding tools to streamline implementation and testing.
• Integrate with Snowflake, SQL databases and NoSQL databases.
• Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Work in Linux/Unix environments to run builds and inspect logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements.
• Ensure code quality via unit tests and peer reviews.
