Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. in Sevilla is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and extend the backend of an internal developer portal and dashboard, using AI coding tools daily to accelerate delivery.

You will design robust Python services (FastAPI, Django, or Flask), integrate Snowflake and relational/non-relational databases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship reliable APIs with strong test coverage.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on backend development with Python (4+ years) and FastAPI/Django/Flask.
• Experience using AI coding assistants in daily workflows.
• Proficiency with Git, branching, PRs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux/Unix command-line basics and scripting.
• Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and MongoDB.
• RESTful API design and integration.

Responsibilities

• Continue the development of the internal developer portal and dashboard.
• Design, build, and maintain a robust Python backend to support core application features.
• Leverage AI coding tools to streamline implementation, refactoring, and test generation.
• Integrate the application with Snowflake, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Manage Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Navigate Linux/Unix environments to run builds, scripts and inspect logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and peer reviews.
