AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and extend the internal developer portal and dashboard, using AI coding tools in daily work.

This role focuses on Python backend development with FastAPI/Django/Flask, plus deep integration with Snowflake, SQL, and NoSQL databases, and RESTful APIs. It involves CI/CD, Git workflows, Linux user-level tasks, and collaboration across teams in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on backend development in Python (≥4 years).
• Experience using AI coding assistants daily.
• Proficiency with Git, branch management, PRs, and CI/CD integration.
• Linux/Unix command-line and scripting basics (user level).
• Experience with Snowflake and relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.

Responsibilities

• Continue development of the internal developer portal and dashboard.
• Design and maintain a robust Python backend for core features.
• Leverage AI coding tools to streamline implementation, refactoring, and test generation.
• Integrate with Snowflake, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Manage Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Navigate Linux/Unix environments to run builds and inspect logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
