AgileEngine seeks a Python Backend Developer to extend the internal developer portal and dashboard, leveraging AI coding tools in daily work. You will design a robust backend, integrate diverse databases, and maintain CI/CD pipelines. You’ll work with Linux environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes RESTful API design, database integrations, and iterative testing to ensure high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of backend development experience with Python.
• Experience using AI coding assistants in daily workflows.
• Proficiency with Git, including branch management, pull requests, and CI/CD.
• Experience with databases including Snowflake, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Continue the development and extension of the internal developer portal and dashboard.
• Design, build, and maintain a robust Python backend to support core features.
• Leverage AI coding tools to streamline implementation, refactoring, and test generation.
• Integrate with Snowflake, relational SQL, and non-relational databases.
• Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines to maintain automated testing and deployments.
• Navigate Linux/Unix environments to run builds, scripts, and logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Ensure code quality through unit tests and peer reviews.
