Wärtsilä invites applications for a Senior Service Engineer – Propulsion to lead mechanical maintenance, repair, and overhauls of propulsion systems. The role requires hands-on field service with global travel up to 80%, and collaboration with customers to deliver high-quality results.

Preferred locations include Las Palmas or Valencia, Spain, with consideration for other Spanish sites. A strong engineering background and bilingual English/Spanish capability are essential for success.

Formación

• Diploma or BSc in Mechanical, Marine, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• At least 5 years of mechanical service experience, preferably in marine environments.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Performing mechanical maintenance and overhauls on propulsion equipment.
• Troubleshooting and investigating faults in propulsion systems.
• Supporting installation, commissioning, and testing of propulsion equipment.
• Executing warranty and field service activities on-site.
• Preparing detailed service work reports in line with company standards.
• Communicating effectively with customers and internal Field Service stakeholders.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with QSHE guidelines and site procedures.
• Following up on work progress and reporting to customers and internal teams.
