Job summary

FieldCore is seeking a Mechanical Field Engineer and Technical Field Advisor to join our Field Operations team in Spain. You will manage site activities, coordinate resources, perform hands-on maintenance of steam turbines and some gas turbines, and ensure compliance with safety and company standards.

The role requires extensive field engineering experience with strong turbine operation knowledge, plus the ability to read electrical/mechanical diagrams and perform precision alignment.

Qualifications

• Extensive Field Engineering Services experience with strong Steam Turbine knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical diagrams and instrumentation.
• Experience with dial and laser alignment and understanding thermal growth in turbines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety mindset and ensure work complies with GE safety standards.
• Coordinate and monitor on-site steam turbine activities and resources.
• Lead on-site systems maintenance, preventive maintenance, calibration after installation.
• Respond to emergency repairs and service requests.
• Provide technical instruction and write reports for customers and records.
• Drive customer satisfaction through quality work.
• Prepare technical reports for customer records and future outages.
• Verify contractor/workers compliance with company standards.
• Direct aftermarket upgrades at site level.
